Sustainability

The concept of Sustainability entered our lives for the first time with the report titled "Our Common Future" published by the United Nations in 1983. The definition of sustainability was stated in the report as "Humanity has the ability to make development sustainable to ensure that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs". Sustainability is the ability to sustain the life of humanity while ensuring the continuity of production and diversity. In other words, it is a call to action to meet our own needs without depleting the resources of the future and to leave to future generations a world with sustainable economic, ecological and social conditions. At this stage of our world, we, as İş Faktoring, decided to take a step to develop solutions to global problems with all our well-intentioned awareness of sustainability, to support the cooperation of governments, the private sector, academia and non-governmental organizations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the United Nations' common call to action, which was announced in 2015 and is targeted to be completed by 2030, to think about what we can do for the future of our world, first as individuals and then as İş Faktoring, to put forward and take action. We wanted to have our share in solving the problems addressed by the seventeen development goals.
